... the magnitude of adulthood, of womanhood, of motherhood hit me and I struggled. Searching for a break, I picked up my pen and began to shape my feelings into poems and songs again. Towards the end of 2018, I discovered Open Mics and fell in love with the idea of sharing my heart with others.
